Video call virtual house valuation
Get an accurate figure of your home’s value with a quick video call from an expert valuation specialist. No visit needed.

What is a virtual valuation?
Want a house valuation without anyone stepping foot in your home? We understand that meeting face-to-face isn’t always possible or desired, which is why our virtual valuations – a quick video call with a valuation specialist – gives you the same accurate result as an in-person valuation.
A virtual valuation is easy, free, and accurate. Whether you’re self-isolating, not up for hosting an estate agent in person, or simply want to get answers quickly, a quick video call is all it takes. No visit needed.
How to get a virtual valuation
A video call is how you find out how much your home is worth – plus, it’s all conducted online. Here’s what to expect.
Enter your postcode
And select your address. We’ll also ask you to pop in a few details about yourself – your name, number and email address.
Select a date and time
Pick a time that suits your schedule for the video call with one of our expert valuation specialists. You’ll receive instant confirmation and a link to join the call.
Join the call
Click on the link to join the call with your specialist, and ‘show’ them around the property using the device’s camera. The more detail you give, the better. The call usually lasts around 45 minutes.
Get your valuation
Once the specialist has toured your home virtually, they’ll give an accurate figure of what your home is worth.

What do I need for a virtual valuation?
Once you’ve booked your virtual valuation, you’ll get instant email confirmation and a link to join the call. For the call, you’ll need a device with a camera (we recommend a handheld, like a smartphone or tablet so you can move around the house) and a steady Wi-Fi connection.
We want you to get the most out of your time with your estate agent, so make sure your signal is strong beforehand. If you’re concerned that Wi-Fi may be an issue, please book a house valuation to meet one of our estate agents face-to-face.

How accurate is a virtual valuation?
A virtual valuation via video call is the same as an in-person one – it just takes place online! You can expect the same great service and an accurate house valuation. Because this is becoming more and more common, our estate agents are pros at understanding just how much a home is worth. We know your local area inside out and use millions of data points to home in on a price.

Questions about a virtual property valuation?
If you're asking yourself "How much is my house worth?" then a valuation is a good place to start.
A virtual valuation is ideal for anyone who wants answers about how much their home is worth, without having an agent step into their home. Perhaps you’re self-isolating because you’re under the weather, have a sensitive pet, or want all the convenience and accuracy of an in-person valuation, just over a video call. Either way, we’re happy to provide an accurate valuation via video call.
All our valuations – instant, virtual, and in-person – are free. Plus, there’s never any obligation with them, meaning you won’t feel pressured to sell or move forward with our services. You’re always in control.
Great news! You can simply instruct us online when you’re ready to get going. You can keep track of your sale 24/7 through your online account and through our handy app, meaning you never miss a beat.
A virtual valuation is a valuation that takes place with one of our valuation specialists over a video call. You show them around your property with the device’s camera, so that they can get a sense of the space. It’s a substitute for an in-person valuation (where an estate agent visits your property) but it’s surprisingly common and just as accurate.
An instant valuation is an automatically generated figure of what your home could be worth. Based on historical data, local information, and a wide set of data points, we provide an estimate of what your property could be worth. It gives you a ballpark figure, but it’s a fast way to get an idea.
