    North Berwick is a thriving seaside town on the shore of the Firth of Forth and is situated approximately 25 miles from the capital city of Edinburgh with two picturesque bays and two famous Golf Courses.
    North Berwick’s main attractions are the excellent beaches with their golden sands, Tantallon Castle, yachting and the John Muir Way coastal path which passes through the town, to name but a few.
    The islands in the Forth are visible from the town , namely The Bass Rock, The Lamb, Fidra and Craigleith and the Bass Rock hosts a thriving colony of gannets, puffins any many other seabirds which can be observed through cameras from the Scottish Seabird Centre at the harbour. Boat trips can be arranged to the Bass Rock and Fidra.
    The railway station provides a valuable rail link with Edinburgh city centre and its excellent shopping facilities and in addition there is a regular bus service to the City centre. Edinburgh Airport is approximately a 45 minute drive away, useful for commuters.
