Purplebricks releases Moving Meditations to help make moving home easier


Moving home is one of the biggest life decisions you’ll ever make. 

At times, it can feel a bit like a rollercoaster. From the excitement of finding your dream home to the anxious wait as you make an offer, there can be ups and downs along the way. 

 

As the UK’s biggest estate agent, we want to help make moving home as simple as possible.

 

So we’ve teamed up with Breath Coach Rebecca Dennis to create a series of moving meditations. These are designed to help refocus your mind, alleviate some of the stresses of moving, and find comfort and calm when things feel outside your control. 

 

Moving Meditations

 

A recent study of 2,000 adults revealed that some of the most challenging aspects of moving house are completing the sale of your current property, waiting on a completion date and packing. Searching for a new house, getting a mortgage and viewing properties were also among some of the top pressures. 

 

32 per cent try to keep positive throughout the process, with exercise, ‘me time’ and opening a bottle of wine some of the top stress relievers. Over half of respondents said they would consider listening to meditations to help ease their stress during a house move.

 

“While the journey is not always the smoothest, there are certainly ways to find calm in the midst of moving. I’ve created three guided meditations that are designed to help reset the mind and relax your body during the move” - Rebecca Dennis
